Non-Qwest Conversions: PLEASE NOTE -- When you switched local phone service to your current provider, they cut the wires that connect the wiring inside your home to the telephone network so they could provide you with service. Liberty Bell Telecom pays for the conversion of your phone service. We will guarantee dial tone to the Network Interface Device (Phone Box) outside your home, however, additional wiring may likely be required to reconnect the wiring inside your home. We will tag the wiring at the phone box, and it will be the homeowners responsibility to connect the inside wiring at the phone box. You may do this yourself, use a contractor of your choice, or contact Liberty Bell Telecom for the name of a recommended vendor.

New Installs: PLEASE NOTE -- As part of your new service installation fee, Liberty Bell Telecom will guarantee dial tone to the Network Interface Device (Phone Box) outside your home/apartment. Often times, the wiring to the phone jacks inside your home is not connected correctly at this box. You may do this yourself, use a contractor of your choice, or contact Liberty Bell Telecom for the name of a recommended vendor to complete this work. Please note this additional inside wiring service is NOT included in your standard installation charge.

Collect Call Policy: All Collect Calls will be blocked upon activation. Liberty Bell Telecom does not allow collect calling on its phone lines.

A Note on Taxes and Surcharges: Taxes and surcharges vary widely depending on the amount of your telecom bill, the city and county you live in and various other factors. Telecommunications services are one of the mostly highly taxed commodities in America. Your taxes and surcharges with Liberty Bell Telecom will be approximately the same as they are with your current provider.

Credit Checks: All individuals signing up for Liberty Bell Telecom will be subject to a credit check. For additional information please see our Billing FAQ’s.

Pay Phone Surcharge: 55 cents.

Converting from another facility based CLEC: For example: Allegiance, Comcast, McLeod, SBC, SunWest & American Communications.
Customers are subject to a Inside Wiring Fee of $99.00. Please contact customer service for additional information. 1 866 664 2355

Toll Free: $5.00 reoccurring monthly charge. Per minute charges .04 cents for calls originating out of State. .075 cents for calls originating instate.

DSL Restoral Fee: $25.00 Non-Recurring Charge, if you subscribe to Liberty Bell DSL service and your dial tone is suspended for non-payment, you will be charged this fee in addition to any restoral charges associated with your Voice Services.
